Last week, Canadian singer-songwriter Elise LeGrow shared an acoustic live video performance of Bo Diddely’s, “Who Do You Love,” filmed at the Orange Longue recording studio in Toronto. The cover will be on her forthcoming debut album, Playing Chess.

Huffington Post praises LeGrow stating even though it is often a risk when female artists rework popular songs written by men, her “groovin’, infectious, bluesy interpretation stands out and demands attention.” Playing Chess is set to be released in February 2018 and will feature artists such as The Roots, The Dap-Kings, Betty Wright and more.

If you’re in New York, catch her at the Mercury Lounge on November 9.
