With her fourth album, Abyss, set for release August 7, Chelsea Wolfe released the full version of her newest rack, “Iron Moon” this past week.
In her interview with Rolling Stone, Wolfe cites “Iron Moon” as being the last track written for Abyss. The track is dark and hazy, with dreamlike elements interwoven, taking the listener on an emotional journey.
Abyss is expected to be Wolfe’s most personal album yet, and if “Iron Moon” is any indication of the rest of the album, we are in for a masterpiece.
