Award-Winning guitarist Adrian Conner has released the video for her new single, “Belligerent” off her upcoming EP Spaz Kitty, her first solo project which is set for release May 18. The five song album is currently being crowdfunded through PledgeMusic, and has already reached over 93% of her goal since the March 1st kick off date.

Spaz Kitty is her ninth music contribution, but her first time combining electronic music with a hard rock sound, “experimenting with DAW’s has opened up songwriting for me and enabled me to be more prolific than ever before,” says Conner. The single, “Belligerent” is her most feminist work to date and contains the edgy, aggressive rock guitar riffs she is famous for.

Conner has worked in the music industry for a number of years; as the lead guitarist for the AC/DC all-female tribute band Hells Bells (17 years), and most currently in an original band, Beaux Cheveux with drummer Clementine of the all-female Led Zepplin tribute band, Zepperella. Guitar Player Magazine has described Conner as, “Exciting, rambunctious and kinda scary”.  She plays a variety of genres ranging from acoustic metal to pop rock. Her accolades include the Best of Austin Music Award she won in 2011 for songs Conner co-wrote with the Go-Go’s Kathy Valentine.
